Project Overview
REACH is the University of Michigan’s premier organization for content creators, artists, and creative entrepreneurs. The club supports ambitious ideas in the entertainment space, focusing on portfolio development, creative project execution, and providing exclusive networking and learning opportunities. REACH fosters a tight-knit, supportive community for students passionate about building personal brands and making an impact in entertainment.

Recruitment Period
Each semester, REACH recruits new members through events like Festifall, where we set up a booth to introduce the club and showcase our community. We also host events for potential members to learn about the organization and get to know our current members. During these recruitment periods, I designed flyers, social media posts, and other digital graphics to promote our events and attract new creative talent to the club.
Project Team Period
After recruiting new members for the organization, I led a six-person social media project team. Together, we collaborated to create engaging social media content, assign tasks, and develop posts that aligned with the club’s goals. The primary objective of our team was to increase awareness of the University of Michigan REACH organization and strengthen its presence on campus. Through consistent content creation, we aimed to engage university students, encourage interaction, and strengthen the connection between REACH and the campus community. While the team contributed to the content creation process, the examples shown here represent social media posts that I personally designed and created.
Social Media Analytics
At the end of the semester showcase, we conducted a comprehensive review of our social media analytics to evaluate overall performance and impact. This included assessing growth across platforms, engagement trends, and content reach to understand what strategies were most effective in increasing visibility for REACH.
After one semester…
By implementing student-centered content strategies, our team grew the REACH Instagram account from 184 to 262 followers, a 42% increase in audience growth.
Our Instagram generated over 50,000 content views and reached more than 8,300 unique accounts, representing a 180.9% increase in audience reach. Profile visits increased by 186.9%, demonstrating stronger brand awareness and student interest in the organization.
External link taps grew by 105.4%, indicating greater engagement and successful conversion of social media traffic into meaningful interactions.
The launch of REACH's TikTok account, growing from 0 to 68 followers. 25 videos were published, generating more than 1,500 total likes and increasing the organization's visibility.
